In collaboration with the Director of Education Services, the Instructor will create, teach, and maintain Cyber and IT Course Curriculum for Silotech Academy. Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and Teaching an Intermediate Level Linux Kernel Development Course
  • Must understand the fundamental concepts to work with Linux Kernel, and previous versions of the kernel. CentOS, Kali, Fedora, Ubuntu, and openSUSE Linux distributions from a theoretical and practical perspectives
  • Understand the Kernel Development Environment
  • Write Kernel Modules that minimally interact with I/O memory, processes, file systems and networking
  • Must understand Linux Kernel Security Protection
  • Must understand how malware is injected into the kernel
  • Must understand how rootkits subvert the kernel
  • Must have at least 1 year of previous teaching experience in a professional setting
  • Must be U.S. Citizen
