Cyberspace Operations Instructor/Writer Criteria:
  • Possess a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) for appropriate level security clearance (TS/SCI) at an interim level within six (6) months of contract award and at a full level within twelve months of contract award and maintain the required security clearance throughout the life of the contract.
  • Must have graduated the NSA’s Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC) or have a working knowledge of all of the following topics:
    • Discrete structures and logical proofs
    • Programming fundamentals and basic programming to include C and Python
    • Computer organization and architecture
    • Operating systems with proficiency in Windows and Unix
    • Networking concepts and protocols
    • Enterprise level networking
    • Protocol analysis
    • Target research/SIGINT analysis
    • Active exploitation
    • Computer network defense
    • Forensics methodology and malware analysis
    • Intermediate to advance Nexus, Snort, Malware, Reverse Engineering, and coding experience
  • Must possess a current CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) and Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) course certification.
  • Must possess pedagogical/androgogical content knowledge, defined as the ability to recognize student mistakes, why they may have made those mistakes, and how to get students back on track from where they are. Instructor/writers must be able to diagnose underlying student misconceptions and misunderstandings from the mistakes they make and then help them correct those misconceptions and misunderstandings instead of merely addressing the mistakes themselves.
  • Have 1 (one) year of experience, within the last 5 (five) years, instructing full-length instructional and training material in courses related to information security, network mapping, penetration testing, basic digital forensics data collection and analysis, software threat analysis, reacting to cyberspace events, employing cyberspace defense infrastructure capabilities, providing incident response impact assessments, producing network security posture assessments, analyzing computer system and network architectures, and determining and implementing exploitation methods.
  • Possess advanced presentation speaking skills (e.g. tailoring content and delivery for different audiences, presenting confidently to large or small groups, and using more creative approaches to presenting).
  • Must have DoD instructor certifications, current within the past 5 years.  All personnel not properly ABIC and CTC qualified will have to successfully complete the course upon award of contract. All related cost for certification shall be the responsibility of the vendor
  • Must possess intermediate to advanced technical training Course Development experience
